Andrew Dinning

Andrew is a founder and the Executive Chairman and CEO of Sarama Resources Ltd. Andrew is committed to development in Africa and is a board member of The Australia-Africa Minerals & Energy Group (AAMEG), a peak body representing Australian companies engaged in the development of Africa’s resource industry.

Andrew has over 30 years experience in the international mining arena having worked in the Democratic Republic of Congo, West Africa, UK, Russia and Australia. He has extensive mine management, operations and capital markets experience and has spent most of his career in the gold sector. Andrew was a director and President of DRC based Moto Goldmines Ltd from 2005 to 2009. He oversaw development of the company’s Moto Gold Project (Kibali Gold) from 2 million to +22 million ounces of gold, taking the project from exploration to pre-development prior to the $600 million takeover by Randgold Resources and AngloGold Ashanti in October 2009.

Mr Dinning has a MBA, a First Class Mine Managers Certificate (Western Australia and South Australia) and a Bachelor of Engineering (Mining) degree.

Sean Harvey

Sean is a founder and Non-Executive Director of Sarama Resources Ltd. Sean serves as Non-Executive Chairman of Victoria Gold Corporation and Perseus Mining Limited and as a Non-Executive Director of Serabi Gold plc and Abacus Mining and Exploration Corporation.

Sean has extensive experience in investment banking as well as executive management experience in the resources sector and brings valuable experience to assist the company as it seeks to transition into a West African gold producer. He has held senior executive and Board positions with a number of mining companies, including TVX Gold Inc., Atlantico Gold Inc. and Orvana Minerals Corp.

Sean holds an Honours BA degree in Economics and Geography and an MA in Economics, both from Carleton University, an LLB from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from the University of Toronto and he is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada.

Simon Jackson

Simon is a founder, shareholder and Non-Executive Director of Sarama Resources Ltd.

Simon is a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years’ experience in the mining sector. He is the Managing Director of ASX listed Kopore Metals Limited, a copper exploration company focussed on the Kalahari Copper Belt. He has previously held senior management positions at Beadell Resources Limited, Orca Gold Limited and Red Back Mining Inc. Simon serves as a non-executive Director of Cygnus Gold Limited and Coziron Resources Limited.

Simon specializes in M&A, public equity markets management and corporate finance. His career has included corporate transactions in Canada, Australia, Africa and Indonesia and he holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Western Australia and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

Dave Groves

Dave is a shareholder and Non-Executive Director of Sarama Resources Ltd.

Dave has more than 35 years’ experience in precious-metals exploration, resource development and business development. He is currently Vice President, Exploration for Evrim Resources Corporation, a precious and base-metal prospect generator in North America. Previously he held the position of Vice President, Global Exploration for Centerra Gold where he lead and managed resource-development and greenfield exploration programs in Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Turkey, Russia and China. Prior to Centerra, Dave worked for Newmont Mining Corporation in exploration and business-development roles in North America, Australia, Europe and West Africa. During his tenure at Newmont, he participated in the discovery and delineation of the Leeville and Turf gold deposits on the Carlin Trend in Nevada, directed greenfield discoveries of Carlin-type and high-sulfidation gold deposits in the Tethys mineral belt in Turkey and Armenia and oversaw a major resource expansion at the Akyem gold deposit in West Africa.

Dave holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geology from the University of Maine at Orono and a Master of Science from the University of Minnesota-Duluth. He is a Fellow of the Society of Economic Geologists and a Certified Professional Geologist with the American Institute of Professional Geologists.
